LOST AND FOUND the Art of Dieter Noss

 

Innumerable times Dieter Noss walked on the volcano during the last thirty years. This landscape inspires him, here on Lanzarote he is getting the best ideas, as he says.

Born in Hamburg  in 1947 he has worked as a Graphic Designer for a long time for publishing companies, graphic companies and publicity agencies, until he started 10 years ago to concentrate mainly on the execution of his art. The preparation of lost and found objects are an important part of his work. On his walks he finds, what is his.

But not only the Collages and other art objects are convincing, also his paintings, what you can easily observe in his painting of Pablo Picasso. Or gets clear seeing his Jesus Christ, who aparently comes walking towards us and tries to protect us with his open arms, instead of being crucified.You can see some of the works from Dieter Noss until 1st of March 2009 at the Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas in Yaizza.
